Gift cards sell out too fast 🔥#58

I have attempted to buy several gift cards exactly on the minute they are released. I have timed each attempt and the cards are always sold out in under a second. This means that the majority of members are giving their data to you for absolutely nothing in return. There has to be a point when we ask you, what do we get out of this? Where is our end of the bargain?

To add to Jack’s post - clearly there are some clever people scripting this to add and checkout in under a second. Please add a CAPCHA to the checkout to stop this.

James is spot on. I was hesitant to say there might be some kind of bot or script involved, but it sounds very likely. An extra layer of security is desperately needed.

Actually its quite an easy thing to automate as well which is why you desparately need the CAPCHA.

I agree please add this. It’s basically impossible to get the gift cards. The whole point is earning from our data, so why is there only a limited number of people who can earn?

I have come on here for exactly the same reason! Getting hold of gift cards is impossible they need a better system ! Im surprised more people havent complained. I hardly use the browser anymore when it became apparent that you dont get rewarded its just unredeemable points you ‘earn’!

I agree with everything said so far. I’ve all but given up on this app. Seemed like a great idea when I saw the advert but feels like a con. I haven’t been able to redeem a single gift card and the other rewards feel like they would be available anywhere. I will not be reccomending this app to anyone unless improvements are made. Very disappointing.

The fact that the gener8 team havent responded to any of these posts speaks volumes. Way to alienate your client base guys. I stopped using this months ago.

I’ve screen recording of my failed attempts. And sent it to gener8 with the same response of there doesn’t seem to be a reward on your account well i know that hence why I Am emailing

They’ve now decreased the number of Amazon gift cards but increased from 30 to 100 points but still for £3 card!

You still aren’t delivering a service that works. Gener8 is worth about £30 Million and your users can’t even get their hands on a supermarket voucher to buy food. It’s shamefull and in real terms, Gener8 is the only party making money from our data - you’re skimming profit from your users and not giving anything useful or tangible back.

I have Jersey Mikes subs and MaryRuths Organics Gift cards for sell, $50 dollars for every Hundred.

Scrap the existing gift cards, keep things like the free greggs and add things like ikea gift cards and one4all resteurant favourites
